Hello Super Studios began in 2007, when founder and creative director Megan dusted off her Super 8 camera from film school to shoot a dear friend’s wedding. What started as one wedding grew into a long career built around a love for real film and the privilege of telling the stories of countless wonderful couples.
Today, Megan is based in the French countryside, where she lives with her French husband and continues to shoot weddings throughout France and Europe. Hello also has a small team of trusted analog cinematographers in New York, allowing us to continue filming celebrations on both sides of the Atlantic.

After all these years, we still approach weddings the same way: as a wedding guest with a cool camera. We’re there to experience the day alongside you, to notice what’s happening around you, and to capture the moments you may not even realize are happening.

INVESTMENT
We feel honored to collaborate with couples who are excited to work with us, trust our vision, and value our 16 years of experience documenting weddings on Super 8 film. To ensure that each couple receives personalized attention and prompt communication throughout the process, we intentionally book a limited number of weddings each season.
We offer full-day wedding packages (starting at $7,500) as well as elopement and micro-wedding packages (starting at $3,500). For multi-day celebrations, destination weddings, or other types of events, we’re happy to create a custom package tailored to your needs.

Why choose SUPER 8 film?
Since super 8 was popular in the 60s and 70s, it has an inherent nostalgic quality that is going to look timeless in 50+ years. If you ever watched your parents or grandparents old home movies, you know not only how cool they look but how meaningful they are. Our intention is to keep that feeling alive for a new generation.
TIMELESS
Our clients appreciate the natural, unforced, artistic quality that only real film can give. Because of the cost of film, we have to be deliberate about what we shoot. This means we remain present, waiting for perfect moments. With this patience, we tend to pick up on subtleties and nuances which make our films feel authentic and intimate.
AUTHENTIC
Besides the aesthetic beauty of film, what we really love is that super 8 cameras allow us to be light on our feet. This translates to no intrusive gear making you feel awkward in front of the camera. In that sense, we can be very discreet making it easy to capture real, candid moments of you and your guests having the best time ever.
