This journey started after I (Megan) dusted off my super 8 camera from film school to shoot my dear friend's wedding. It was such a thrill to capture all of the emotions of the day and the results were beyond amazing. Since I had a feeling other couples would love it too, the business was born. Over time, a select few of talented analog cinematographers have joined to our team to document the stories of countless couples from NYC to Paris and destination weddings near and far.
Our clients love our laid-back approach but with a keen eye for detail and nuance. We like to think of ourselves as a wedding guest with a cool camera. We know how to blend in, to be patient, to observe and anticipate the big and small moments that will be cherished for generations to come.

INVESTMENT
We feel honored to collaborate with fun-loving couples who are excited to work with us, trust our vision, and value our 15+ years of experience documenting weddings with super 8 film. To be sure we give our clients personalized attention and prompt feedback, we only book a limited amount of weddings each season.
We offer full-day wedding packages (starting at 7k) as well as elopement/micro weddings packages (starting at 3k). For multi-day events, destination weddings or other types of events, we are happy to customize package options for you. We would love to connect by phone or video to discuss the possibilities.

Why choose SUPER 8 film?
Since super 8 was popular in the 60s and 70s, it has an inherent nostalgic quality that is going to look timeless in 50+ years. If you ever watched your parents or grandparents old home movies, you know not only how cool they look but how meaningful they are. Our intention is to keep that feeling alive for a new generation.

Our clients appreciate the natural, unforced, artistic quality that only real film can give. Because of the cost of film, we have to be deliberate about what we shoot. This means we remain present, waiting for perfect moments. With this patience, we tend to pick up on subtleties and nuances which make our films feel authentic and intimate.

Besides the aesthetic beauty of film, what we really love is that super 8 cameras allow us to be light on our feet. This translates to no intrusive gear making you feel awkward in front of the camera.
