Wedding Film

Susan & Eli: Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Tarrytown NY

We love it so much when clients request their weddings to be captured on vintage super 8 film. People have always been drawn to the timeless quality and we’re so happy to keep the medium alive (thank you Kodak!). So when Susan & Eli asked for their wedding to be shot on film, we were thrilled and knew that it would be a super cool element to their stylish affair. Susan being an interior designer and Eli working in the art world, you can imagine the brilliant flair they incorporated. From the tropical floral display around their chuppah to their fabulous outfits (hello ostrich feather wedding dress and shiny gold groom’s shoes!) to the bridal party’s stellar fashions. It was one chic event all within the spectacular rustic farm setting.

Lindsey & Elaine: Red Maple Vineyard-Hudson Valley, NY

My communication with Elaine & Lindsey was amazing from the start. When we first chatted on the phone, I could tell theirs was going to be an epic love fest. And that it was! They were both just so happy the whole day through, nothing could stop the laughter and joyful tears that flowed from both of them and their loved ones. It was a beautiful but freezing fall day in the Hudson Valley and they were troopers to take photos and video outside (with the warm love between them, it didn’t even show!). We then moved inside the beautiful, cozy venue for the rest of the day and everything went off wonderfully. Their surprise choreographed first dance was a winner and everyone (including me) was moved to tears at the end of the night when all of their guests surrounded them in a circle for their final dance. EPIC to say the least. Take a peek at their highlights here:

Nicole & Jeffrey: Tribeca Rooftop, NYC

Talk about the sweetest couple you ever met! Nicole & Jeff exuded so much fun and happiness on their big day... they were all smiles and laughs all night long making our job easy. They were introduced to our work from Nicole’s good friend Michelle whose wedding we’d filmed a year earlier. She was so in love with Michelle’s film, she had to have her own. We LOVE when that happens. Nicole was SO ecstatic getting ready, the excitement was palpable. She and Jeff had the sweetest first look, followed by a fun bridal party shoot out in the streets of Tribeca, then the gorgeous rooftop ceremony at dusk surrounded by the twinkling lights of the Manhattan skyline. Such a stunning setting! The night continued with the most fun dance party where all of their family and friends got wild on the dance floor.

Here’s a taste of their amazing day:
