What is your approach?

Our team of top-notch cinematographers are the invisible guests at your event, capturing both the big moments & small details that perfectly capture your wedding experience. This unobtrusive approach allows you and your guests to feel at ease in front of the camera and enjoy your day without posing.

We are embarrassed by wedding "paparazzi" who use bulky cameras and overbearing gear, so we've adopted the style of using minimal digital equipment and cool-looking retro cameras. People are always so intrigued by our cameras that we typically make many new friends by the end of the night.

I love the super 8 look but does it record sound?

Super 8 is a silent film format, and as former DJs, we love editing images to music. We want your film to express the essence of YOU, so we use the music of your choice... or we're happy to help with your selections. If you want your personal vows recorded and weaved into the final edit, we do that too, as an add-on service (digital audio recording). See a sample here

For audio recording, do you use microphones?

We use a small lavalier microphone on the groom & officiant during your ceremony, which is hardly noticeable. If your ceremony will be amplified (recommended for best quality), we will plug our digital recording device into your sound system. This assures the best quality audio recording.

Do you use lights?

We use a small LED camera light only when absolutely necessary (typically in dark venues and on dance floors at night). We try to be as unobtrusive as possible and use the light very sparingly.

Do you travel for weddings?

Of course! All the time actually. We are based in Brooklyn, NY & France but we pretty much live on planes, trains and automobiles going to and from events. Since we love to experience new places so much we just ask that you cover transportation (if we need to go far) and 2 nights accommodation.

How long is the finished product & when do we get it back?

We believe that less is more. We capture the spirit and atmosphere of the day, rather than a boring play by play. That's why our films typically range from just 5 to 20 minutes. We don't want your investment to collect dust on the shelf, we want it to be watched again and again!

It takes a little while to get the film back from our lab, we get busy during the height of wedding season and we take our time polishing and perfecting your final edit so you'll be really really pleased. That's why finished films are usually ready anywhere between 3 to 5 months after the wedding, depending on the season.

How do we watch and share our film with others?

Although super 8 is a vintage film format, you won't need the family to gather around an old projector to watch. Instead, your footage will be professionally edited and digitally transferred to a USB flash drive for easy viewing, sharing and archiving. AND you can share your film with loved ones anywhere in the world with a link to your own personal web page.

Great, what do we need to do to book you?

We ask for a signed contract + 50% deposit to hold your date. The remaining balance is due 1 week before the wedding. Easy peasy.
